About the role
This internship focuses on designing BAW/SAW Acoustic Filter components and their integration into RFFE Modules within the Advanced Cellular business group.
What you'll do
- Design BAW/SAW Acoustic Filter components for wireless RF Applications.
- Contribute to Laminate integration of Filter Components into RFFE Modules.
- Run circuit and electromagnetic (EM) Simulations using commercial and internally developed tools.
- Understand and meet Product Specification requirements considering RF Performance, costs, and schedule.
- Work alongside Characterization Team to evaluate and diagnostic RF Components.
- Contribute to the Continuous Improvement of Design flow, Methods, Processes.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Analog/RF circuit design or EM simulation in coursework and/or experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Nice to have
- Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
- Software Exposure: ADS, AWR, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Cadence, Dynamic Link.
