About the role
This role involves supporting semiconductor wafer customers through on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of Keysight's Wafer Test Solutions (WTS) Parametric Solutions, including the Keysight 4070, 4080, P9000, and NX5400A families.
What you'll do
- Manage and implement preventative maintenance and calibration schedules.
- Install hardware and software/firmware upgrades and service notes.
- Perform on-site troubleshooting and repair of customer equipment.
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve difficult repair situations.
- Solve problems involving hardware, software, networking, operating systems, and probers.
- Conduct on-site installation and commissioning of complete solutions.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel via car and air (25-50%).
- Ability to lift equipment weighing 50 lbs.
- Ability to effectively use Digital Voltmeters, Oscilloscopes and Frequency Counters for troubleshooting.
- Discipline to complete paperwork, manage company assets and spare parts effectively.
Nice to have
- 2+ years’ experience on Semiconductor Parametric Testers, particularly Keysight’s 4080 and P9000 families.
- Troubleshooting skills applied to precision test systems (test hardware, software, computers/operating systems, probers/fixtures).
- Ability to travel internationally.
- Customer interfacing experience.
- Electromechanical aptitude and skills.
- Familiarity with semiconductor wafer product environments and processes.
- Prior functional test experience, particularly involving Keysight instrumentation and instrument-based systems.
