About the role
This role is for an Early Career Field Service Engineer who will install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ASM semiconductor equipment, specifically ALD and Epitaxy equipment.
What you'll do
- Learn how to install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ASM semiconductor equipment.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and qualifications.
- Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting activities.
- Support customers in resolving technical issues and minimizing equipment downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system-level issues.
- Document service activities and technical findings.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Hands-on mindset with an interest in troubleshooting equipment.
- Ability to work in cleanroom environments.
- Willingness to travel extensively during the first year for training (up to 70% to Asia, US or Europe).
- Flexibility to support customer schedules when required.
