About the role
Under direct supervision, the primary responsibility is to provide technical support and on-site services to customers. The role assists with equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance in a professional, efficient, and timely manner.
What you'll do
- Provide technical support to customers primarily via on-site visits and assist in troubleshooting simple technical issues.
- Assist with equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance, including replacing or repairing defective parts or components.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, cleaning, and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Generate performance reports, customer feedback, and assist with quality assurance activities.
- Participate in comprehensive paid onsite training covering TEL products, equipment, standard operating procedures, safety, and technical coursework.
What you'll need
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Basic understanding and strong interest in technology and mechanical equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and ability to lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in clean room environments wearing PPE, including safety glasses, safety shoes, bump cap, and clean room garments.
- Flexibility to travel frequently to customer sites, often on short notice, as well as occasional travel to TEL factories and training facilities.

- Customer service experience.
