About the role
This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining Cymer laser equipment at customer sites, ensuring optimal system performance. You will be a technical expert supporting Cymer laser equipment.
What you'll do
- Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot Cymer equipment problems via telephone or at customer sites.
- Perform installation, repair, retrofits, upgrades, and preventive maintenance on Cymer equipment.
- Maintain an assigned installation equipment base, providing primary support and regular customer communication.
- Provide service education to customer's service and operations staff.
- Complete service and expense reports.
What you'll need
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of technical experience working with electronics.
- Ability to apply advanced knowledge of installation, maintenance/repair, and troubleshooting at module and system level.
- Experience using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, electronic e-mail systems, and LabView.
- Oral and written English language skills.
Nice to have
- Cymer laser experience.
- Ability to read and analyze opto-mechanical and electronic schematics.
- Experience leading one installation or significantly contributing to successful installations at multiple sites.
- Ability to analyze data and report problems, completing accurate, comprehensive service reports.
