About the role
Provide on-site repair, maintenance, and complete installation/relocation start-up services for Lam's complex electro-mechanical and electronic semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites.
What you'll do
- Provide on-site repair, maintenance service, and complete installation/relocation start-up services of electro-mechanical and electronic systems at customer sites. - Perform analytical problem-solving, conduct diagnostics, isolate issues to the component level, and execute corrective actions to minimize downtime and system interruptions. - Maintain records and reports to coordinate service activities between Lam and the customer. - Serve as a technical subject matter expert representing Lam to customers and provide status updates on Lam tools. - Maintain knowledge of semiconductor capital equipment and Lam products through ongoing training and certification.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of experience, an advanced degree without experience, or equivalent work experience. - Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals. - Ability to work in a cleanroom environment while wearing personal protective safety equipment or a cleanroom suit. - Ability to frequently bend, stoop, reach, walk, sit, twist, squat, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods. - Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally based on customer needs, and to travel internationally for training purposes. - Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including compressed and alternative workweeks, overtime, and on-call schedules.
Nice to have
- Experience in installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment. - Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with common office software including Microsoft Office Suite. - Mandarin language skills.
