About the role
This role provides highly visible customer support through on-site installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems. The Field Service Engineer serves as the company liaison with customers on technical matters for assigned projects at the Kaohsiung site.
What you'll do
- Perform on-site installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
- Act as the company liaison with customers on technical matters for assigned projects.
- Exercise judgment to determine appropriate action for problems of moderate scope.
- Perform installation, repair, retrofits, upgrades, and preventive maintenance on equipment at customer sites.
- Maintain and manage an assigned installation equipment base, including primary support and forecasting.
- Conduct customer support meetings and ensure regular communication with the customer.
What you'll need
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
