About the role
The Field Product Specialist / Technical Pre-Sales engineer serves as a technical voice within a cross-functional team, combining technical semiconductor test knowledge with customer engagement. The role focuses on supporting customer teams through product differentiation, demonstrations, and proofs of concept for automated test equipment platforms.
What you'll do
- Serve as a technical expert to support customer teams with product differentiation, demos, and proofs of concept. - Develop, coordinate, and deliver product demonstrations that show the technical value of test solutions to prospects and clients. - Partner with sales teams on strategic account planning, execution, and delivery of viable product solutions. - Work directly with technical and operational decision-makers to identify new opportunities, define project scopes, and support existing applications and sustainment activities. - Monitor competitor offerings, industry trends, and product-line developments across legacy, existing, and emerging technologies.
What you'll need
- Bachelor or higher degree in electronic engineering, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - 8+ years of experience in the semiconductor testing industry. - Hands-on ATE experience with Teradyne platforms such as UltraFlex, Flex, J750, Magnum, Maverik, or similar systems. - Willingness for international travel up to 25%.
