About the role
As a Field Process Engineer 2, you provide process support, evaluation, and documentation of process outputs for equipment installations, hardware modifications, and upgrades at customer sites.
What you'll do
- Provide process support and installation of Lam equipment at customer sites. - Complete Design of Experiments (DOE) evaluations to characterize process windows for new installations or modifications. - Develop new processes for small variants to existing customer applications. - Conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, generate reports, and provide recommendations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to understand technology roadmaps, process flows, requirements, and business challenges. - Present technical and marketing materials to address customer needs.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree in Electronics, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or a closely related field with 2+ years of relevant work experience. - Proficiency in computer applications and data analysis tools (such as JMP, Minitab, or Excel). - Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent tools for documentation and presentations. - Ability to work in a cleanroom environment wearing personal protective safety equipment or a cleanroom suit, with flexibility to be on-call if needed.
Nice to have
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE). - Familiarity with semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments. - Experience with Sabre tools. - Experience with electroplating. - Ability to communicate in Mandarin (spoken and written).
