About the role
This program prepares aspiring Field Applications Engineers to solve technical challenges for customers by providing systems-level solutions, including understanding component selection and solving design and cost challenges. You will gain hands-on experience with PCB layouts, fabrication processes, board bring up, and validation.
What you'll do
- Identify potential projects using various sales tools and design engineering relationships.
- Provide customers with proactive proposals for complete, system-level solutions.
- Influence customer part selection using broad technical expertise.
What you'll need
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field.
- Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher.
Nice to have
- Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, along with soldering and debugging skills.
- Programming skills in C/C++.
- Experience with LabView.
