About the role
The Field Applications Program (Digital Selling) is a 12-month development track within the FAST program that prepares Field Applications Engineers to pair technical skills with business acumen, concluding with placement on the Digital Selling Systems team. The program includes rotations across the Field Sales Office, Mass Market, and Business Unit/Systems Engineering & Marketing teams covering component selection, board bring-up, and systems-level customer designs.
What you'll do
- Complete three rotational assignments across the Field Sales Office, Mass Market, and Business Unit/Systems Engineering & Marketing organizations. - Learn systems-level product selection, schematic/layout capture, PCB layouts, fabrication processes, board bring-up, and validation. - Use TI's selling platform to identify potential projects and convert mass-market opportunities to revenue at scale. - Provide customers with proactive proposals for complete system-level solutions that maximize TI content. - Use broad technical expertise to influence component selection processes and position TI products against competitors.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher.
Nice to have
- Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, along with soldering and debugging skills. - Programming skills in C/C++ (LabView recommended).
