About the role
The Field Applications Engineer Processor (FAEP) partners with Sales to provide processor-related technical expertise throughout the sales cycle and resolve customer design challenges.
What you'll do
- Work on-site with customers to support their engineering teams and secure design commitments for TI processor solutions.
- Recommend and implement system processor solutions, developing custom applications and example code.
- Debug software components directly in customer end systems.
- Partner with sales and product groups to translate customer requirements and competitive insights into new product or feature developments.
- Author software and systems application notes and collateral, and deliver technical trainings, seminars, and workshops.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, Computer Engineering, or comparable field.
- 2 years of relevant engineering experience in a customer-facing role.
- Working understanding of applications with an emphasis on PC motherboard controllers and system management controllers.
- Embedded software development skills.
