About the role
As a Field Applications Engineer, you will drive demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on customer designs and securing engineering investments across pre- and post-sales activities.
What you'll do
- Maximize Arrow content on customer designs and secure high-ROI engineering investments. - Leverage technical expertise, engineering resources, and solution-selling strategies to solve complex customer requirements. - Partner with sales, internal departments, and suppliers across pre- and post-sales activities to deliver technical consulting and align design priorities. - Build relationships with key decision-makers across customers and suppliers, managing expectations and executing strategic initiatives. - Participate in ongoing supplier technical training to evaluate emerging technologies and conduct joint research to support customer designs.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably as a hardware / firmware design engineer, sales engineer, or application engineer. - Experience using CRMs and knowledge of Microsoft Excel. - Eligibility for an export license or status as a U.S. Person under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Nice to have
- FPGA/MPU/MCU/GPU/Networking/Embedded systems experience. - Sales experience.
