About the role

This role involves acting as a Field Applications Engineer, influencing component selection and driving demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on designs for customers.

What you'll do

• Influence component selection directly with customers.
• Utilize advanced understanding of customer needs and technical leadership to champion return on engineering investment.
• Drive demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on designs and leveraging engineering and design services.
• Present technical seminars and workshops around supplier lines.
• Provide frequent updates to the field sales team and partner across pre- and post-sales activities.
• Meet with suppliers to review customer design activity and identify solutions.

What you'll need

• 4-year degree (engineering preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or an advanced degree without experience.
• At least 2 years of experience and in-depth knowledge with system/board/engineering solutions and electronic components.
• Breadth of knowledge of electronic components.
• Experience with design engineering.
• Stays up-to-date on supplier products and Arrow design services.

Nice to have

• Intermediate-to-advanced level experience using Excel and PowerPoint office tools.
• Ability to become competent on CRM and Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Oracle, Salesforce and Microsoft Power BI.
