The Field Applications Manager is a player-coach position leading a team of 8+ Semiconductor Test Applications Engineers in Irvine, CA to develop application solutions that drive market share and customer satisfaction.
What you'll do
- Lead, recruit, manage, and develop a team of 8+ Semiconductor Test Applications Engineers in Irvine. - Collaborate with regional Sales partners to formulate and execute account strategies that secure design-ins and expand market share. - Provide oversight to ensure technical, schedule, financial, and strategic objectives are achieved. - Proactively plan future technical skill sets and integrate all engineering resources necessary for customer success. - Build and maintain direct relationships with key technical decision makers at customer accounts. - Enforce compliance with organizational policies, engineering best practices, and training standards across the team.
What you'll need
- 10+ years of experience with ATE equipment, such as Teradyne UltraFlex, UltraFlexPlus, Eagle, Advantest V93K, or equivalent test platforms. - BSEE, related field, or equivalent work experience. - Strong programming experience in C#, C++, or Visual Basic. - Proven track record of managing complex semiconductor test program development with global teams. - Ability to travel 25% or more domestically and internationally.
