About the role
As a Field Application Engineer in Teradyne’s Solution Engineering Group (SEG), you will drive the development of customer device test solutions in collaboration with customer teams and cross-functional engineering groups.
What you'll do
- Develop test programs on IC test platforms. - Provide technical expertise, technical support in sales presentations, and product demonstrations. - Address customer inquiries concerning system software and applications, providing software and hardware consultation. - Build application solutions based on customer requirements to enhance product performance and support design-ins. - Build and maintain customer relationships to expand market share.
What you'll need
- Bachelor or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - 5+ years of experience with test program development. - VBT, C#, and .NET framework program development capabilities. - Ability to carry auto liability or minimum insurance due to automotive responsibilities.
Nice to have
- Experience with UltraFlex or UltraFlex Plus platforms. - Probe Card and Load Board debug experience. - System Level testing and debug experience. - Experience in developing specifications with a customer.
