This Field Application Engineer role provides technical support to customers and aligns GlobalFoundries technology offerings with application and market needs.
What you'll do
- Engage with customers to understand technical needs for semiconductor IC product development.
- Support evaluations of GlobalFoundries technologies and drive design wins.
- Collaborate to create application-specific technical presentations and proposals.
- Support customers through technical evaluations, design-in activities, and tapeout processes.
- Develop customer-facing technical documentation on GlobalFoundries technologies.
- Identify and resolve technical issues impacting design win conversion or tapeout readiness.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Science, or related field.
- Overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
- English (Written & Verbal) language fluency.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Nice to have
- Prior related internship or co-op experience.
- Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies.
- Project management skills.
- Coursework in Circuit Design, Semiconductor Device Physics, or Materials Science.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, EDA software, and Linux operating systems.
