About the role
This role involves serving as the technical bridge between customers and the engineering team, guiding customers from initial evaluation through design-in and production for Efficient Computer's processor architecture, Electron E1.
What you'll do
- Create and present Efficient Computer's technical value proposition to customers.
- Understand customer applications and system requirements to propose optimal Efficient Computer-based solutions.
- Partner with sales teams to secure design-wins and drive them to production.
- Provide hands-on technical support throughout the design cycle, including evaluation, board bring-up, debugging, and optimization.
- Build custom demos, proofs of concept, and benchmarks demonstrating Efficient Computer's performance and energy advantage.
- Author reference designs, application notes, and training materials for customers and channel partners.
What you'll need
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field.
- Minimum 4 years of embedded software development experience with an understanding of embedded hardware including digital and analog circuits.
- Experience with ARM or RISC-V microcontrollers.
- Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems and Python for scripting, tooling, and test automation.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers, and JTAG/SWD debuggers.
- Minimum 2 years of successfully supporting customer product development.
- Experience working with embedded software, sensor fusion algorithms, edge AI models, and interfacing with wireless modules or wireless SOCs.
- Experience at a semiconductor company or MCU vendor supporting design-wins.
- Background in target markets such as industrial IoT, wearables, smart home, medical, or defense.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites, up to 25% of time.
