About the role
This role involves operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Ultrapure Water, Process Cooling Water, and Industrial Waste treatment systems and equipment.
What you'll do
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Ultrapure Water, Process Cooling Water, and Industrial Waste treatment systems.
- Perform laboratory testing and correlations of process instrumentation.
- Adjust controls to regulate the feed of liquids and gases through equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance procedures to keep process equipment performing optimally.
- Perform diagnostic and troubleshooting practices to determine root cause and corrective actions.
- Draw samples and perform temperature, pH, and gas-analyses to ensure process efficiency.
What you'll need
- Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Fundamental understanding of RO technology, Ion Exchange, pumping, filtration, and automation.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience with process piping systems in an industrial setting.
- High School graduation or GED.
- Competency in basic mathematic skills including fractions, addition, subtraction, division.
Nice to have
- Technical College or Trade Program.
- Experience with laboratory or analytical equipment.
- 5+ years’ experience with process piping systems, working in an industrial setting.
