About the role
The Facilities Project Manager - Real Estate & Construction oversees facility modifications, capital construction projects, and real estate performance across regional manufacturing and office facilities in a matrixed organization.
What you'll do
- Coordinate and develop project specifications, estimate costs and resources, hire contractors, oversee construction schedules and budgets, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Develop and implement facility maintenance standards, procedures, preventative maintenance programs, and regional KPI reporting according to corporate guidelines. - Support local facility leaders with equipment layout planning, tool installation and hookups, cleanroom environments, and facility modifications. - Compile and present capital project updates, facility footprint metrics, and risk assessments with mitigation plans to functional and business leadership. - Prepare RFPs, lead contractor selection, negotiate contracts, and conduct audits of physical plant health and safety standards. - Identify optimization opportunities for facilities space, capital investments, and utility costs without sacrificing service quality.
What you'll need
- BS/BA degree in an engineering or construction-related field. - 10+ years of experience in engineering or construction management. - 5+ years of experience managing construction projects in a corporate setting. - Working knowledge of cleanroom environments, tool installation and hookups, and Building Management Systems (BMS). - Experience with scope development, equipment layout planning, RFP development, contractor selection, and EH&S standards for hazardous substances. - Proficiency with Work Order platforms and KPI reporting. - Ability to meet physical requirements including reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs in a manufacturing environment.
