About the role
As a Facilities I&C Engineer, you will design, install, and maintain systems that monitor and control facility parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, and level. You will work with sensors, controllers, communication networks, and FMCS to support semiconductor fab operations.
What you'll do
- Design, configure, integrate, repair, and troubleshoot facility PLC and SCADA systems, including ladder logic, control panels, and alarm management. - Calibrate system instrumentation field devices and manage field instrumentation loops and network communications. - Support instrumentation and control systems for applications such as HVAC, water treatment, and gas chemical distribution systems. - Oversee the initial setup, commissioning, and calibration of I&C systems, collaborating with engineers and technicians. - Perform routine and preventative maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting for PLC/SCADA and DDC automation systems. - Design and maintain safety systems for hazardous conditions, participate in low voltage electrical safety training, and perform Emergency Response Team (ERT) duties if selected.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. - Willingness and ability to work on-site at the Phoenix, Arizona facility. - Ability to participate in and perform Emergency Response Team (ERT) duties if selected by management.
Nice to have
- Experience designing, commissioning, and troubleshooting facility instrumentation and control systems. - Experience with industrial automation systems including PLC, SCADA, and DDC. - Knowledge of FMCS, BMS, and CMMS programs. - Relevant certifications, including ISA certifications.
