About the role
This role is responsible for driving stable operational performance, yield improvement, and manufacturing continuity at external subcontractors for onsemi. This role serves as the focal point between the External Manufacturing team and the Business Unit.
What you'll do
- Lead strategic projects focused on operational excellence, value engineering, and quality improvement.
- Act as a communication bridge among suppliers, customers, Business Unit, and project teams for operations management, program management, and risk awareness.
- Manage external manufacturing operations.
- Drive quality, yield, delivery, cost, and supplier performance.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Experience in assembly/backend manufacturing operations.
- Proven experience in a high-volume, high-mix production environment.
- Project management skills.
