Join a team developing advanced embedded Resistive RAM (RRAM) technologies.
About the role
This role involves supporting the development, qualification, and production deployment of advanced embedded Resistive RAM (RRAM) technologies. You will ensure robust RRAM solutions for automotive, industrial, and IoT applications.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute RRAM technology qualification plans.
- Design and execute reliability stress tests, including endurance, data retention, read disturb, write disturb, HTOL, and TDDB.
- Develop lifetime prediction and reliability models using statistical techniques.
- Investigate RRAM failure mechanisms and switching degradation behavior.
- Lead root-cause analysis activities involving electrical, physical, and material characterization.
- Collaborate with FEOL, BEOL, integration, device, modeling, and manufacturing teams to optimize RRAM switching conditions.
What you'll need
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Microelectronics, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of semiconductor NVM reliability experience.
- Direct experience with RRAM / ReRAM, embedded NVM technologies, MRAM, PCM, or other emerging memory technologies.
- Knowledge of switching mechanisms and conductive filament physics, retention, endurance, and variability behavior.
- Understanding of algorithm impact on RRAM forming-, erase-, and program operation and reliability mechanisms.
- Knowledge of automotive qualification requirements (AEC-Q100, JEDEC).
- Programming skills in Python, VBA, or advanced statistical tools.
Skills: RRAM, NVM reliability, endurance, data retention, AEC-Q100

How we counted: 412 open Reliability Engineering (Reliability Engineering) roles from 70 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 17 Sept 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Process, Fab & Equipment family row. Figures refresh nightly.
