About the role
TSMC Arizona is looking for an Equipment Technician to support fab operations in Phoenix, Arizona. The role focuses on tool maintenance and sustaining operations within a 5-nanometer fab.
What you'll do
- Perform preventive maintenance activities on 300mm semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom environment. - Conduct post-PM visual inspections and quality checks. - Respond to error messages from factory systems and semiconductor equipment. - Review Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts for process quality and perform defect troubleshooting. - Sustain and improve the spare parts management system across the full life cycle of spare parts. - Participate in continuous improvement processes and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.
What you'll need
- High school diploma, equivalent, or equivalent technical training in military service. - Ability to operate computer and system interface programs for computing and analyzing production information. - Ability to follow detailed instructions, procedures, and completion of required documentation. - Ability to work in a cleanroom environment gowned in coveralls, hoods, boots, safety glasses, and gloves, spending >90% of time (minus breaks) on the factory floor. - Ability to lift weight consistent with applicable safety guidelines, including NIOSH Lifting Recommendations. - Availability to work a compressed work week schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts (or assigned permanent night shift) on a 24/7/365 schedule.
