About the role
This role involves performing preventative maintenance, repairs, improvements, upgrades, and installations of automation equipment. You will interface with engineering and manufacturing groups to resolve issues efficiently.
What you'll do
- Work directly on automation equipment used to run tools in the factory
- Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs
- Monitor and analyze all related data to improve and maintain tool performance
- Coordinate supplier service and repairs
- Prepare technical reports and recommend solutions to technical problems
What you'll need
- High School diploma/GED
- 2 years of semiconductor experience as a Technician OR 8 years of non-semiconductor/military Technician experience
- Ability to work 12-hour compressed work schedule
Nice to have
- Technical experience with automated material handling systems (AMHS), overhead transport vehicles, POD and reticle stockers, and automated guided vehicles
