About the role
As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will perform preventive, corrective, and diagnostic maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing tools. This role involves working with a diverse set of tools within a cleanroom environment.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical systems, including servo motors, stepper motors, AC motors, and DC motors and controllers.
- Troubleshoot and repair electro-pneumatic systems, including solenoid valves, gate valves, high vacuum isolation valves, vacuum pumps, and pneumatic logic circuits.
- Complete scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance and repair procedures in a timely, accurate, and safe manner.
- Dismantle, adjust, and repair equipment using maintenance specifications and repair manuals.
- Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges, and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and and repair of equipment.
- Recommend and write maintenance procedures and specifications.
What you'll need
- Minimum AAS in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical, Electrical Technology, or a Military Electronics degree.
- High level attention to detail.
- Methodical approach to troubleshooting and project management.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently under general guidance and direction.
- Ability to independently learn systems and processes associated with the role.
Nice to have
- Prior semiconductor technician experience.
- Experience with Metal deposition, Ion Implant, Wafer Thinning, or Electronic testing/probing equipment.
