Sustain 300mm RIE Dry Etch semiconductor equipment.
About the role
This role involves sustaining and running the fab floor, with primary responsibility for resolving equipment and process issues for 300mm RIE Dry Etch semiconductor equipment.
What you'll do
- Perform preventive maintenance activities.
- React to error messages of factory systems and/or equipment.
- Review Statistical Process Control charts and other system indicators for process quality and react to Out of Control conditions including defect troubleshooting.
- Recover from process and tool interruptions.
- Identify and address potential areas for improvement and optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization and cost.
- Complete all required reporting and documentation.
What you'll need
- High School Degree (or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, vacuum technology, and plasma physics.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to isolate and remedy complex issues on advanced equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including a 12-hour night shift schedule in a cleanroom environment.
Nice to have
- 2+ years of experience in a semiconductor fab or technical support role.
- Familiarity with RIE semiconductor process modules and equipment (e.g., Axcellis, LAM, Tel).
