About the role
This role involves sustaining and operating the fab floor, with primary responsibility for resolving equipment and process issues within a 300mm manufacturing facility. The position focuses on monitoring, controlling, and qualifying 300 mm ION semiconductor equipment.
What you'll do
- Monitor, control, and qualify 300 mm ION semiconductor equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities.
- React to error messages of factory systems and/or equipment.
- Review Statistical Process Control charts and other system indicators for process quality and react to Out of Control conditions, including defect troubleshooting.
- Recover from process and tool interruptions.
- Identify and address potential areas for improvement and optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and cost.
- Complete all required reporting and documentation.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement processes and skills development.
What you'll need
- High School Degree (or equivalent).
- 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Fluency in English Language – written & verbal.
- Able to perform shift work on a 12-hour shift schedule, including working in a cleanroom environment per semiconductor industry and onsemi protocol/requirements.
- Able to wear all required cleanroom & safety protective clothing and equipment throughout a 12-hour day (excluding breaks).
- Able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds on a periodic basis throughout the shift.
- Able to perform work in a standing position for the majority of a 12-hour shift (excluding breaks).
