About the role
This position provides process sustaining support for a wide variety of characterization and cleans processes on Wolfspeed's epitaxy wafers.
What you'll do
- Report and document process issues and equipment malfunctions.
- Take corrective action and interact with Process and Equipment Engineering to identify and resolve issues.
- Handle non-conforming material events and associated material depositions.
- Assist in creating and refining procedures.
- Collaborate with Operations and engineering teams to achieve quarterly yield and cycle time goals.
- Work with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, and R&D to sustain and improve processes, including characterizing, documenting, and presenting data based around design of experiments (DOE).
What you'll need
- Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) or Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET), or a degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience within a semiconductor environment.
- Understanding of and ability to handle structured problem solving in the form of OCAPs, 5Whys, and 8Ds.
- MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access experience.
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Experience using hands to operate and sustain manufacturing equipment and processes.
Nice to have
- JMP experience.
- SQL experience.
