About the role
Texas Instruments is seeking an Epitaxy Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, improvements, upgrades, and installations across the fab.
What you'll do
- Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive tool downs. - Monitor and analyze equipment data to improve tool performance and resolve operational issues. - Coordinate supplier service and vendor repairs when required. - Prepare technical reports, summarize diagnostic findings, and recommend solutions for technical issues. - Interface with fab engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure equipment issues are resolved effectively.
What you'll need
- High School diploma or GED, and at least 18 years of age. - Either 2 years of semiconductor technician experience OR 8 years of non-semiconductor or military technician experience. - Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule. - Flexibility to work day or night shifts, including one weekend shift and holidays.
Nice to have
- Experience maintaining and repairing epitaxy equipment, preferably ASM E3200, ASM E2000, or ASM Intrepid in atmospheric and reduced pressure (RP) configurations. - Troubleshooting skills on electrical and mechanical systems.
