This role leads global enterprise network operations while executing the modernization of network infrastructure across campus, data center, cloud, WAN, and remote environments.
What you'll do
- Lead enterprise network operations to improve service reliability, availability, and performance across campuses, manufacturing sites, data centers, and cloud environments. - Identify and execute network modernization programs, focusing on automation, cloud networking, SD-WAN, and infrastructure lifecycle upgrades. - Partner with Cyber Security teams to align network architecture with security standards, segmentation, compliance requirements, and risk reduction initiatives. - Develop and implement automation programs to reduce manual operational effort and improve network service delivery. - Communicate network strategy, operational health, modernization progress, and business impact to leadership and stakeholders. - Coordinate cross-functional technical initiatives across network, security, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - 8+ years of enterprise networking experience. - 5+ years leading global network operations or engineering teams. - Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies, network automation, and enterprise monitoring platforms. - Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise network modernization and transformation programs. - In-depth knowledge of enterprise routing, switching, wireless, WAN, SD-WAN, cloud networking, and network security.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting global enterprise environments with 10,000+ users, particularly in manufacturing or highly distributed environments. - Knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) networking and Industrial Control Systems (ICS). - Experience with cloud transformation and hybrid networking across AWS or Azure. - Network automation skills using Python, Ansible, or Terraform. - Familiarity with AIOps, network analytics, Zero Trust, SASE, ITIL, and Agile delivery practices.
