This Engineering Technician role involves developing, executing, and improving work processes that support new product development and manufacturing operations within a semiconductor technology environment.
What you'll do
- Develop, execute, and improve manufacturing and engineering work processes.
- Set up and operate probers, test systems, and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot process issues and disposition non-conforming materials.
- Collect, organize, analyze, and interpret process, equipment, and product data.
- Create and maintain preventive maintenance procedures for manufacturing and assembly equipment.
- Conduct equipment checkouts, calibrations, correlations, qualifications, and validation activities.
What you'll need
- 2 - 4 years of related experience.
- Hands-on experience with probers, test systems, lasers, micro-assembly tooling, and dispensing systems.
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Ability to interpret experimental results and manufacturing trends.
- Experience performing scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair activities on test equipment, fixtures, and workstations.
- Ability to work primarily in a clean-room manufacturing setting.
