About the role
This role involves performing routine to moderately complex electro-mechanical technical functions and activities related to semiconductor equipment. You will contribute to advancing the equipment essential for new semiconductor chips and advanced displays.
What you'll do
- Perform routine to moderately complex electro-mechanical technical functions and activities such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly.
- Test and troubleshoot system level and component level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems.
- Perform new system and NPI installations and field upgrades.
- Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or plans to perform routine testing and troubleshooting.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & vacuum and process testing on AMAT platforms.
- Generate Quality Notifications and perform rework as a result of testing.
What you'll need
- Experience performing routine to moderately complex electro-mechanical technical functions.
- Ability to test and troubleshoot system level and component level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems.
- Experience with new system and NPI installations and field upgrades.
- Capability to work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or plans.
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & vacuum and process testing on AMAT platforms.
- Developed analytical skills and application of scientific methods.
