About the role
This position is for a TEM operator working a Back End Night shift, focused on high volume metrology data generation with rapid turnaround times.
What you'll do
- Protect customer IP through established procedures and vigilance.
- Generate and integrate feedback to continuously improve sample preparation processes.
- Produce high-quality data supporting Lam's processes.
What you'll need
- Willingness to work a night shift schedule (12 hours Wednesday-Friday plus every other Saturday).
- BS or Associate level degree in a physical science such as Physics, Engineering, or Chemistry.
- Knowledge of physics involved with FIB/SEM and TEM tools, including vacuum systems, diffraction, and ion sputtering behavior.
- Experience in customer IP protection and sample handling.
Nice to have
- Experience operating HRTEM and S/TEM for imaging, preferably with semiconductor or materials imaging.
- Experience with TEM sample preparation using a FIB.
- Experience with EDS and EELS.
