About the role
This role supports semiconductor applications using Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM) to image challenging structures within the Global Products Group. Work involves wafer-level imaging, Cross-Section SEM (XSEM), sample cleaving, and Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS/EDX).
What you'll do
- Support semiconductor applications using Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM) to image structures. - Image samples at the wafer level, acquiring profile, sidewall, and top-down images using SEM. - Perform Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS) analysis. - Optimize SEM images for a variety of materials and contribute to the development of Best Known Methods (BKM) for SEM imaging. - Execute SEM alignments and correct basic fault conditions on metrology equipment.
What you'll need
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience) with 2–4 years of related experience. - Minimum of 2 years of hands-on Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) experience. - Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications. - Ability to work a shift-based schedule as required.
Nice to have
- Technical Certificate in a related technical field. - Experience in metrology or related technical areas. - Experience in the semiconductor industry.
