About the role
This role involves partnering with Systems and Design Engineering to test and troubleshoot RF Plasma generators. The work includes supporting engineering activities related to prototype electro-mechanical systems.
What you'll do
- Support design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems and experimental design circuitry.
- Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, or defined plans to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting functions.
- Conduct engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research work.
- Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
- Assist in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions.
- Assist in the design, construction, test, and check-out of test equipment, using oscilloscopes and signal generators.
What you'll need
- Associate degree or equivalent technician experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
