About the role
This role is responsible for all engineering build activities for new NVIDIA products, leading multi-functional teams to plan and execute HW prototype (boards & systems) builds.
What you'll do
- Independently create and update plans to achieve project objectives.
- Identify, track key milestones, evaluate, acquire, and handle resources.
- Resolve accurate number of prototypes (boards & systems) needed for each engineering build.
- Optimize engineering build planning, cost, schedule, logistics, staffing, testing, and communication.
- Identify risks, develop, and execute risk management plans.
- Ensure proper prototype distribution in a timely manner.
What you'll need
- 5+ years experience in a similar role, preferably within an engineering, manufacturing/operations environment.
- BS EE/IE degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong manufacturing and R&D background.
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
- Experience in working with suppliers, vendors and/or customers.
- Ability to travel, as needed (could exceed 30% for certain projects).
