About the role
This Engineer role focuses on launching, developing, and refining processes to improve product quality and reliability, specifically within PVD/CVD equipment and thin film processes. The position aims to improve process yield, reduce costs, increase efficiency, and manage risks.
What you'll do
- Ensure close interaction with equipment suppliers.
- Drive equipment planning, selection, and configuration with area process engineers.
- Troubleshoot complex tool issues and seek mentorship for highly complex problems.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve process or equipment issues using failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, or SPC methods.
- Lead activities for yield improvement and cost reduction, and coordinate new baseline qualifications.
- Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, and effectiveness.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or Master's Level Degree, or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of experience as an equipment engineer.
Nice to have
- PVD/CVD Thin Film knowledge.
- Experience and familiarity with PVD/CVD equipment.
