About the role
The Total Product Support (TPS) Engineer provides system-level technical support for advanced CMP platforms across development and customer environments, playing a critical part in first tool deployments and sustaining engineering.
What you'll do
- Serve as a system-level technical expert for advanced CMP platforms
- Support new product introductions (NPI), including first builds, qualification, and First-In-Fab deployments
- Lead advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex tool and process issues
- Drive continuous improvement by feeding field learnings back into engineering
- Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, supply chain, and field service teams
- Support customers globally, including escalation management and direct engagement during critical issues
What you'll need
- Strong hands-on experience with CMP semiconductor equipment
- Proven ability in troubleshooting complex system-level issues
- Experience working across engineering, manufacturing, and customer-facing teams
- Familiarity with tool installations, qualifications, and production ramp support
- Data-driven mindset with experience using performance metrics and analytics
- BSc + 5 years experience or MSc Graduate
- Experience with CMP, polishing, or similar wafer processing equipment
- Familiarity with tool install, and qualification processes
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and fab operations
- Prior experience supporting global customers or high-volume manufacturing
