About the role
What you'll do
- Design, build, and debug system-level hardware, firmware, drivers, and software for validating integrated circuits.
- Develop test automation using in-house tools, Java, BeanShell, and shell scripting.
- Develop, execute, and document test cases that validate SoC solution functionality, including basic and advanced features, performance, error injection, recovery, multi-OS support, interoperability, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in embedded, multi-core, real-time systems.
- Use logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and other advanced diagnostic tools to isolate failures.
- Create and manage system validation test schedules and drive their execution.
What you'll need
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2.5 – 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with or knowledge of Java and C, plus at least one scripting language such as Python, Linux shell, or BeanShell.
- Knowledge of key components and architectures used in server and storage solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience working with Linux and Windows environments and file-system structures.
- Experience with RAID HBAs, SAS, or NVMe controllers and associated software validation strategies.
- Experience validating storage protocols such as SAS, SATA, and NVMe.
- Experience with PCIe protocols and infrastructure.
- Knowledge of computer system I/O hierarchies and interconnects.
