About the role
This role leads the design, development, and evaluation of mechanical and electromechanical systems.
What you'll do
- Design complex mechanical and electromechanical subsystems and systems. - Develop detailed manufacturing and testing specifications and methods. - Evaluate mechanical systems and products using engineering principles, feasibility studies, and testing. - Review requirements, research materials, and ensure system and product quality through testing and validation. - Provide engineering guidance and mentor junior personnel while maintaining technical documentation. - Maintain compliance with government and industry regulations and support cross-functional engineering initiatives.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum 5 years of mechanical engineering experience. - Experience in fluid systems and wet environments. - Knowledge of complex motor drive systems and stress analysis of large frames and other subsystems. - Proficiency with Siemens NX, Team Center, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and PDM systems.
