About the role
This role supports the development, installation, and stable operation of advanced R&D equipment in new product development.
What you'll do
- Support installation, upgrade, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of R&D equipment.
- Assist with first builds, bring-up, and testing of new products.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment.
- Support daily operation and monitoring of R&D lab equipment.
- Collaborate with Hardware, Electrical, Process, and Software engineers during equipment development and integration.
- Follow established best-known methods (BKM) and support documentation of service, preventive, and corrective maintenance procedures.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 1-3+ years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry supporting equipment in R&D, lab, or manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of wafer fab operations, gas and vacuum systems, and equipment control concepts.
- Familiarity with cleanroom or laboratory environments and safe handling of chemicals, gases, or related systems.
