About the role

This role involves contributing to the design of precision timing circuits, leveraging SiTime’s MEMS technology. These circuits span high-performance Networking and Communications Infrastructure and ultra-low power Mobile platforms.

What you'll do

• Design Analog and Mixed-Signal circuits, meeting architectural requirements and technical specifications.
• Contribute to the architectural definition of the design and chip integration.
• Perform calculations, design, and verification simulations at the schematic level and after post layout extraction, fully provisioning for DFT and DFM.
• Work with Layout Designers to ensure proper layout using best known methods.
• Document assigned blocks, and hold preliminary and final design reviews.
• Actively participate in chip bring up, evaluation, and characterization of owned blocks.

What you'll need

• MS Degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 years of related experience, or PhD.
• Design expertise in one of the following areas: PLLs (Sigma-Delta, LC), ADCs (> 14 ENOB), Temperature Sensor, Quartz or MEMS Oscillator, Sub-threshold circuits, Low-noise regulator, Band gaps.
• Knowledge of programming languages: Matlab, VerilogA, Oceanscript.
• Ability to oversee circuit layout for critical blocks.
• Ability to perform noise analysis.
