About the role
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design, detailing, and documentation of electrical and electro-mechanical systems used in Ultra High Purity (UHP) gas purification systems.
What you'll do
- Design mechanical components and assemblies for new and legacy UHP gas purification systems. - Size and select components as required to meet UHP gas purifier system requirements. - Create solid models, drawings, procedures, and documentation to support the development of systems. - Perform and document mathematical computations and engineering analysis to support product design. - Work with component suppliers and operations to ensure products meet design requirements and assist in prototype testing.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering degree. - SolidWorks 3D CAD and 2D drawing experience. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. - Ability to analyze data and perform mathematical computations.
Nice to have
- DraftSight or AutoCAD 2D CAD experience. - Python experience. - JIRA experience. - Prior internship or engineering work experience.
