About the role
The Engineer I, Mechanical Design is responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing detailed mechanical designs, 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and product documentation for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
What you'll do
- Create and maintain 3D CAD models, assemblies, layouts, and detailed drawings using Creo or equivalent CAD tools.
- Generate component, assembly, fabrication, and installation drawings in accordance with engineering standards and drafting practices.
- Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), product structures, and related documentation.
- Incorporate engineering requirements, tolerances, and manufacturing constraints into design documentation.
- Prepare complete engineering release packages, including drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain drawing revisions and configuration control throughout the product lifecycle.
What you'll need
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design, Drafting, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, drafting, or CAD modeling.
- Proficiency with Creo Parametric or equivalent 3D CAD software.
- Experience creating detailed engineering drawings and mechanical assemblies.
- Experience processing Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Experience with product data management (PDM/PLM) processes and release workflows.
