About the role
Support installation, maintenance, and repair of semiconductor equipment at customer sites, starting with a 24-month training program in Hillsboro, OR before transitioning to Austin, TX. You will work directly with vacuum systems, plasma, chemical delivery, robotics, sensors, and advanced metrology.
What you'll do
- Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of semiconductor equipment at customer sites. - Troubleshoot equipment and process issues with guidance from senior engineers. - Deliver timely, customer-focused technical support while maintaining safety standards in cleanroom environments. - Assist in identifying and contributing to continuous improvement efforts for tool performance and system uptime. - Participate in customer equipment escalations alongside experienced team members.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. - Willingness to spend 2 years in Hillsboro, OR for the on-the-job training program before relocating to Austin, TX. - Internship, co-op, senior design project, lab research, or hands-on technical experience. - Ability to read and interpret basic electronic and electromechanical schematics. - Understanding of cleanroom safety protocols and environment standards. - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
