About the role
This role is a hands-on field service engineering position supporting ASM's semiconductor equipment at customer cleanroom sites in Chandler, Arizona. Work involves hands-on support for vacuum systems, plasma, chemical delivery, robotics, sensors, and advanced metrology on logic technology nodes.
What you'll do
- Support installation, maintenance, and repair of ASM semiconductor equipment at customer sites. - Troubleshoot equipment and process issues under guidance from senior engineers. - Work in cleanroom environments adhering to strict safety and quality standards. - Assist in identifying and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. - Participate in customer escalations alongside experienced team members. - Work designated 12-hour shifts (Shift 4: 6pm–6am Sun–Tue & alternating Sat, or Shift 6: 6pm–6am Wed–Fri & alternating Sat).
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. - Internship, co-op, senior design project, lab research, or hands-on technical experience. - Ability to read and interpret basic electronic and electromechanical schematics. - Understanding of safety protocols and willingness to work in cleanroom environments. - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
