About the role

This role involves product evaluation and characterization for RF and signal processing chips. You will be responsible for products from definition through production release, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal CMOS designs.

What you'll do

  • Interface with design, test, application, software, and marketing teams during product development and release.
  • Gather data for hardware release and supporting datasheets.
  • Develop verification and characterization test plans and automate data collection.
  • Perform lab analysis and evaluation of new systems to identify and correct functional and parametric problems.
  • Characterize pre-release silicon, including analog, digital, and firmware algorithms.
  • Develop and operate RF-centric characterization benches.

What you'll need

  • BE/B Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Communication Engineering.
  • 1-4 years of experience in wireless transceiver or telecommunications industry.
  • Knowledge of RF measurements and signal processing.
  • Experience performing circuit evaluation and characterization using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analyzers, and vector signal analyzers.
  • Working experience with transceivers and different sub-blocks (Plls, Mixers, LNAs, ADCs\DACs, JESD).
  • Familiarity with embedded software and verification practices.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Labview, C#, python, and Teststand.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools such as ADS and Cadence.
