About the role
This role involves supporting the certification of Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) software for safety-critical avionics platforms. You will participate in Software Development Reviews (SOI-2) by evaluating software requirements, architecture, detailed design, traceability, and compliance with DO-178C objectives.
What you'll do
- Perform DO-178C SOI-2 certification reviews.
- Author System, High-Level Requirements (HLR) and Low-Level Requirements (LLR) for Networking and TSN.
- Verify software architecture and detailed design compliance.
- Review bidirectional requirements traceability.
- Evaluate software coding standards compliance.
- Review derived requirements.
What you'll need
- DO-178C lifecycle knowledge.
- Knowledge of Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) including IEEE 802.1AS (gPTP/PTP), IEEE 802.1Qbv, IEEE 802.1Qav, VLAN, Traffic Classes, and Queue Scheduling.
- Experience with Embedded C/Linux.
- Experience with RTOS/Device Drivers.
- Understanding of Ethernet/VLAN/Layer-2 Switching.
- Experience with Socket Programming and TCP/IP fundamentals.
