This role is for an Embedded Firmware Engineer focusing on Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) software certification for avionics platforms. What you'll do
- Perform DO-178C SOI-2 certification reviews.
- Author System, High-Level Requirements (HLR), and Low-Level Requirements (LLR) for Networking and TSN.
- Verify software architecture and detailed design compliance.
- Review bidirectional requirements traceability.
- Evaluate software coding standards compliance.
- Review derived requirements.
What you'll need
- Experience with DO-178C lifecycle.
- Knowledge of TSN, including IEEE 802.1AS (gPTP/PTP), IEEE 802.1Qbv, Qav, and VLAN.
- Understanding of Traffic Classes/Queue Scheduling.
- Proficiency in Embedded C/ Linux.
- Experience with RTOS/Device Drivers.
- Knowledge of Ethernet /VLAN /Layer-2 Switching.
- Experience with Socket Programming.
- Understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals.
